The backcutter bit offers you a raised panel door that is flush with the rail and stile, also giving you a full 1-1/2-inch reveal on your panel. These bits cut all composition materials, plywood, hardwood, and soft wood, and they come in an attractive wooden storage box.

They feature an anti-kickback design for safety, multi-axis grinding for burn free cuts, a Perma-shield coating to resist heat, and a shear angle design that produces a truly superior finish. For the cleanest finish for routing the edges of hard or soft wood, woodworkers can look to Freud's new Quadra-Cut router bits. These unique, patented bits employ four cutting edges, versus the industry standard of two, for a flawless finish on the most delicate of materials.
